Company mission Zurich Cantonal Bank (ZKB), the leading fullservice bank in the Zurich region, has boasted an experienced, interdisciplinary team of environmental and social analysts since 1996. Using a specially developed, multilevel screening and rating process, companies and issuers worldwide are analysed on the basis of their environmental and social performance. The team is integrated in the financial analysis department and can thus benefit from synergies. The results are used by various fund and asset managers when compiling their sustainable investment portfolios. The analyses are also used in Zurich Cantonal Bank's institutional asset management.

Advisory Board / Council

Zurich Cantonal Bank's Environmental Council advises the bank on strategic environmental issues and practical implementation in operations and products. It also advises Environmental and Social Research. Additionally, important questions related to company evaluations and the further development of analysis procedures are regularly discussed with the councils of Swissca and Migrosbank.

Zurich Cantonal Bank is a member of the German Sustainable Investment Forum and ÖBU (Swiss Association for Environmentally Conscious Management). It also participated in the EPI Finance and SPI Finance projects to develop sustainability indicators.
