Aim of investment The Lyxor Global Gender Equality (DR) UCITS ETF - Acc is a UCITS compliant exchange traded fund that aims to track the Solactive Equileap Global Gender Equality Net Total Return Index.
Investment strategy The Solactive Equileap Global Gender Equality Net Total Return Index is an equally weighted benchmark of 150 companies from around the world that score highly for gender equality according to the 19 criteria defined by Equileap, an independent gender equality research organisation. Companies involved in weapons, gambling and tobacco, and those on the Norwegian Ethics Council list, are excluded.
Investment process The starting universe is made of all publicly available stocks with their primary listing in a developed markets economy. To be included in the Index, components need to pass:
o Standard liquidity criteria: USD 2 billion or more of market capitalization and USD 5 million or more of average daily value traded;
o A light ESG screening as defined by Equileap: exclusion of companies which derive the majority of their revenues from the Weapons, Gambling, or Tobacco Industry and exclusion of companies on the Norwegian Ethics Council List;
o An in-depth gender equality screening as defined by Equileap: companies are ranked on 35 points according to 19 gender criteria. The 19 criteria are grouped in 4 categories listed below: A. gender balance in leadership & workforce
B. equal compensation & work life balance
C. policies promoting gender equality
D. commitment to transparency and accountability
