Aim of investment The Fund invests in the most profitable European companies and aims to beat its benchmark by constantly researching and investing in companies for which value creation potential is significantly under-estimated by the market (high concentration and low turnover).
Investment strategy The Fund follows the "Buy & Care" strategy which is primarily built on solid fundamental analysis, shareholder engagement and ESG integration. The engagement process, conducted by the Foundation Guilé, aims to help companies show improvements on the 10 principles of the UNITED NATIONS GLOBAL COMPACT (UNGC).
Investment process The Fund invests in 30-40 European companies, which meet a set of financial criteria (return on capital, balance sheet structure, growth potential), a thorough analysis of their competitive advantages and offer attractive upside potential based on a valuation model. The engagement process conducted with all underlying companies, allows the portfolio manager to sharpen their convictions and to reasonably integrate ESG aspects into the valuation process.
